Our family has been preparing for so big changes these past few months. The big news is that we will be moving to Louisianna in September! Andrew has been called to a new Student Pastor Position. While we are very excited about what God is doing, we are also so sad to be leaving our church here in Arizona. God has blessed each of us with such amazing friends. Our students have been such an encouragement to us and we are so sad to be leaving them. We are praying that God will bring a new leader for them and that they are as kind and resposive to his leadership as they have been for us.
Our new adventure has been a bumpy one so far. Lots of patience tested and faith strengthed. We are still waiting on many things to be completed but here are the things God has blessed us with accomplishing already...
First, God has given us the strength to get through the difficult task of telling our pastor, church, and dear friends.
Our house here in AZ is on the market and showing well.
New insurance is all set up.
We have movers set to come pack and move us.
And the BEST news is... We bought a house!!!
Isnt it exciting!!! We are so excited to have a new house with a huge yard full of green grass! Sounds funny, but it is exciting for us. We have missed grass! :)
So lastly, the thing we are trying to show patience in is the selling of our home here in AZ. Our contract on the new home in LA is contengent on the sale of our current home, so please be praying as we wait...somewhat patiently...for the person who will come to buy our house. Please pray especially that this happens ASAP since we are moving the second week of September. It is coming quickly. Also please pray that we will trust in God for His perfect timing. He has already taken care of so many things and we know He will take care of this last thing as well.
*Oh My GOODNESS!!!!! As I was typing this post, I just got a call the we are getting an offer on the house!!!!! Praise the LORD!!!! Please pray that it works out. :)
